Was watching the Flames at Coyotes tonight and heard the guys talking about Flames and Rangers GM's sharing a box. They also mentioned a possible trade of Phaneuf for Gaborik. Phaneuf might be a good guy to land for the blue line. Gabby has been good but Phaneuf might be able to help the Rangers keep the puck out of the net. I know Calgay is on a huge loosing streak right now lol but that being said they are well stacked on D. They just can't score much.

Yahoo Sports has a rumor that the Ducks will move Selanne. His cap hit is 2.6 and I can see a playoff bound team in need of some scoring taking a chance on him. Where will he end up? What will it cost? Does it make sense to bring him to NY? He is a UFA after this season. I imagine he'd come fairly cheap, but there is a cap space issue. Ducks would have to want a prospect in return.

Managment has stated intrest in them. As for now nothing is set in stone but maybe we will get some of the IHL's greatest Players!!!!!!!

I don't know about everyone else, but I can't stand Christopher Higgins. It seems like every single game he has an open net and can't get the puck in the net.

There was a rumor that Sather is trying to trade Higgins for Todd Marchant. While I don't think Marchant is anything special I would love to just get rid of Higgins.

I would love to pick up Vinny Lecavalier,he played for Coach Tortorella in Tampa and won a cup,so he know's the system already so there wouldn't be that wasted time learning a new system,he already knows it. I say the rangers should try and get him.With Gaborik's injury problems it's always nice to have another guy to help score,we just saw what happend when he (Gaborik) missed a few games 2 weeks ago, the rangers couldn't score a lick!! Now....question is...what kind of...

Oct. 25, 2008 Pitts vs Rangers.......ahhhh I remember being there and thinking life is good because the Rangers tied it with 8.1 seconds left and then to win it in a shootout with Henrik having a stellar performance. Well we all knew it was all too good to be true & in reality that it wouldn't have lasted long as it started to go done hill mid November. But on that note that was one of the great games I went to last season.

Some people have been saying Chris Chelios. a 6'0" 191 pound d-man who is currently 47 wants to end it w/ the guys in blue.
I say y not? We sign ppl ending their career anyway and he is the veteranship the team needs. playing for detroit and winning the cup one year and getting robbed another..... but still he could be a good addition and he could whip defensemen like redden into shape. What worries me is that he had 28 games and had 0 points and failed to score in 6 games in...

brett hull came out and said it a few days ago. hes looking for a replacement of zubov. zubov may retire due to injury or due to dallas wanting to give him alot less money due to his age and injury reports the past 3 seasons.
