trying to start a fun thread. im bored.
when i was a kid i wore 66 because lemieux was my fav player. theni got older and realized it was kinda dumb to wear 66. i then wore 22 for a while. then i was forced to wear 23 on a new team, had my best off |

7 and 9 were always my luck numbers,plus adam graves was my favorite player. now i wear 79 in respect to my 2 lucky numbers,graves,and my b-day is 7/9/91 also i play D |

i was 24 only because that was the last large jersey that year.
but the next year i stuck with it. can''t really say why, i just like the number, it kinda grew on me as the season wore on. |

ive never played on an organized team before just open hockey and all that but if i had to pick a number it would be 14 because i got into a really bad accident playing hockey on the 14th of august and i almost died and spent a long time in the hospital

i was playing roller hockey and this jerk i was playing with was taking it way too seriously...we were both going after the ball and i beat him to it so he tripped me and i smacked my head on the ground reaaaaal hard, i ended up getting a concusion and two frontal brain hematomas, which means pretty much two areas of my brain were bleeding...and the frontal lobe of my brain is permanently damaged

I started out as #7 for two reasons. Born 10/7/77 and for Chris Chelios.
Then I switched and stayed with 22 and I picked that because of Dino Ciccarelli and my father. |

5 because of the most xxxxxxed reason. It was my first year playing hockey and the only player i really knew of back when I was 3 was Ulf Samuelsson because I had heard his name on my TV. I knew he wore number 5 so i took it and have been wearing it ever since. I feel ashamed now that this is the reason but hey after 16 years of hockey i built a nice little resume with that number and I am still currently working on it.
