27 is and will always be my nunber but when its taken i wear 72.....i hate seeing number 99 being worn as well as numbers in the 40''s and skaters that wear numbers in the 30''s

I'm an old school guy. I like hockey numbers between 1-30. I don't think it looks hockey-like to wear 56, 54, 47, 49, etc. The Devils keep the numbers
low, Ottawa used to also. It's a tradition that went to the wayside, just like basketball not having any digit higher than 5............ I wore 22, no
particular reason. In High School, all the star footballers wore double numbers (11,22,33,44,55,66,77,88)...

I started for several years either getting or wanting 23 for jeff beukeboom. (there was several times i didnt get to chose--they chose for the team and just
handed out jerseys) for whatever reason I didnt play well with that/those numbers. then in high school I switched to 5 (ulf samuelsson) which
fit me very well. as a stay at home defensive d-men with a career high varsity goals of 3. (i'm only proud of it cause they were against the divisions
best 2 goalies.) total goals for my entire career mens league included must be around 25 goals. countless clean hard body checks!! I really did play alot
like ulfie only difference no fights.

47. That's been mine ever since (get a kick outta this LOL) I created my first player in an EA Sports NHL game. I've used that number ever since in all
my games, and now so on my real jersey

Currently my Goalie Jerseys for both teams are 30s have been since Novice Hockey when I was 4
I also play defence on another team and rock a number 8. In Floor Hockey it was 4 growing up. |
